How to edit WMV videos

Download and install WMV Editor, launch it and follow these steps.

1. Import WMV videos

Click Import and locate the videos needed to edit, add them to the main window. Then you can drag videos to the timeline.

2. Trim or Multi-Trim WMV videos

Select the video and click Trim or Multi-Trim button to get one or several clips from the source file.

3. Add Transitions or effects

Click Transitions/Add effects in the left navigation bar, select one to see the specific effect at the preview window. You can click the category drop down list to quickly locate the transition/effect you want. Click Transitions/Video Effects on the middle of the main interface to adjust the detailed parameters.

4. Add Text, Audio, Chapter and Mix Audio, Overlay videos

Click the buttons on the left of the main window to achieve corresponding functions.

5. Save Project or Save Movies

Click Save Project on the tool bar to save all the adjustment you have done to the video, you can open the project and continue to edit in the future.

Click Save Movies to get videos which can be played by various multimedia devices, you only have to select iPod, Smart Phones or DVD disc, and WMV Editor will automatically select the appropriate format.
